Kate was a consummate artist who specialized in silkscreen prints of the flora and landscapes of New Mexico. Her work spans the range from small cards to large complex prints using many screens. Her work is represented in the New Mexico Museum of Art, the New Mexico Capitol Art Collection, and many private collections.
